Who Can Become a State National
Anyone born in the United States is eligible to reclaim their birthright as both an American and as a native of their home state—whether Texan, Illinoisan, New Yorker, Californian, or otherwise. Your state of birth is your rightful state. If you were born outside the U.S. but have lived here for at least seven years and can provide proof, you may adopt a state and claim your status as an American State National.
For those born in Washington D.C., you may select a neighboring state or inherit your state of birth from your American-born parents.
